- This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of large and small business prospective contractors relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 488190. The Government is requesting that responsible Large and Small Businesses respond if it can provide the following: Aircraft corrosion prevention wash and lubrication services for the 176 MXG assigned aircraft. Government personnel to be available to operate aircraft systems while the aircraft is in the wash area during 176th MXG weekends. The services include, but are not limited to: provide all personnel and supervision to wash and lubricate, clean interior of HC-130(J) aircraft, C-17(A), and HH-60(G) helicopters at JBER, Alaska. The 176th MXG currently has five (5) assigned HH-60(G) helicopters, four (4) assigned HC-130J and (8) C-17(A) aircraft. Interested vendors are required to submit an e-mail delineating a. Qualifications/capabilities; b. Past performance (description of service, contract number, and provide customer POC and their contact number); and c. Business size/Socioeconomic status. This is not a Request for Quote/Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submissions will not be returned to the sender. VOSBs and SDVOSBs must be registered and verified in SAM for consideration. Responses due are to be submitted by e-mail to 176MSG.msc.vendors@us.af.mil with the subject line "W91ZRU-19-R-5000, Aircraft Wash". The information requested must be received no later than 12:00pm Alaska Standard Time on Wednesday, Nov 14, 2018.
