Description
This sources sought notification is for market research purposes to determine if there are any local small businesses that can provide Recreation Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance Services for declared disaster areas in the counties of Bay, Calhoun, Franklin, Gadsden, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Leon, Liberty, Taylor, Wakulla and Washington. The contractor shall be able to conduct tasks in support of receiving, inspection, repair and maintenance of recreation vehicles to support FEMA's direct housing mission in Florida or other declared disasters. The tasks for this requirement include the following: develop and operate a recreation vehicle inspection and maintenance facility in support of the disaster at the FEMA staging yard, conduct inspections, maintenance and repair of RVs, conduct disaster survivor/occupant walk-thru training for each RV by a certified RV inspector and trainer, provide a contractor to support FEMA in the identification of RV dealers to provide additional RV units off the lot, conduct RV inspection training for FEMA Technical Monitors, and provide other support as directed by the Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer's Representative. In addition, the following criteria must be addressed; (1) all contractor inspectors' personnel shall be certified by the National RV Inspectors Association (NRVIA); (2) the contractor shall provide a list of names of the inspectors; (3) the contractor must be able to conduct fifteen (15) inspections a day; (4) the contractor must demonstrate their business size and (5) the contractor must show that they are an established business in the counties listed above.
