- NOTICE OF INTENT The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate solely with ASG Technologies, Inc. located at 708 Goodlette Rd. North; Naples, FL 34102 for maintenance of ASG Rochade Metadata and Scanner Software. This software is proprietary only to ASG Technologies, Inc. who is the sole source provider of and has access to the source code necessary to provide the required maintenance subscription that is comprised of version upgrades, updates, fixes and customer support experts that provide technical support for ASG solutions including 24x7 Intelligent Support Portal for the period of 12 months. There are no resellers. The authority for this acquisition is set forth in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b) "Soliciting from a Single Source." Written responses to this notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement. This is not a request for quotation, and the Government does not intend to pay for information received. A determination by the Government not to compete the requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All questions and submissions in response to this notice must be submitted electronically via email to Stephanie.L.Harrison@ssa.gov by 5:00pm EST, Monday November 12, 2018. Telephone calls regarding this matter will be not be accepted nor returned.
