- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE TO HYDRAULICS INTERNATIONAL, INC. FOR Converting Power Supply Units Configured for Aircrafts to be LCAC Compatible Scope of Work: The Contractor shall convert the (2) ea. A/M27T-15 040489-100 Diesel Power Supply units to Part Number 170976-100 and make them compatible with LCAC. The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center, San Diego, CA intends to negotiate solely (as prescribed in FAR 6.302-1) with HYDRAULICS INTERNATIONAL, INC. 9201 Independence Ave. Chatsworth, CA 91311-5905. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all bids, proposals, or quotations received by the closing response date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. In doing so, interested sources must submit technical capabilities, pricing, and other information that demonstrates their ability to meet the Fleet Logistics Center ™s needs. Detail technical information must be submitted to Leliza G. Sarino, Contract Specialist, leliza.sarino@navy.mil, no later 12 November 2018 by 1200 noon (PST). Contracting Office Address: Fleet Logistics Center San Diego Regional Contracts Department (Code 200) 3985 Cummings Road San Diego, CA 92136-4200 PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 16 WEEKS to complete after contract award date. -------------------------------------------------------------------Note 22--------------------------------------------------------------- See attached solicitation document. Award will be made to the Offeror that meets the solicitations minimum criteria for technical acceptability. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. See Note 22.
