Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SINGLE SOURCE The SAO East/NCO 6 Contracting Office, Hampton, Virginia, intends to award a single source purchase order to Veteran s Health (SDVOSB; DUNS 788518806) as a result of them being the only SDVOSB authorized reseller/distributor of the LINX Acid Reflux Management System for Torax Medical Inc. The LINX Acid Reflux Management System is the only FDA approved system of its kind. The Esophagus sizing tool and LINX magnetic titanium beads will be used in the Richmond OR to begin performing surgical interventions in support of treating patients with esophageal reflux who are not responsive to medications. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B). The anticipated award date is 14 November 2018. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the product/services listed above. Deadline date for the submittals is 13 November 2018 at 2:30pm Eastern Standard Time. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
