- Description: The purpose of this announcement is to make notice that the Forest Service contemplates releasing a solicitation numbered 1204N719Q0004 on or about November 26, 2018, for the Star Ranger Station Well Development, Siskiyou Mountains Ranger District, Rogue River-Siskiyou NF. The solicitation will be released through this FedBizOpps website, and prospective bidders should visit this FedBizOpps website www.fbo.com on or after November 26, 2018, to obtain a copy of the solicitation. This notice meets the requirements of FAR 5.201. Description: The project includes all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, supervision and incidentals necessary to perform the work for well development and work necessary for the purpose of increasing the production of an existing 6" diameter drinking water well in accordance with the specifications. Desired yield is 5-10 gallons per minute. Star Ranger Station located in Jackson County, Oregon, on the Siskiyou Mountains Ranger District. The Ranger Station address is 6941 Upper Applegate Road, Jacksonville, Oregon. Price Range is between $ 25,000 and $100,000. This project is set-aside for small business concerns. The North American Classification System Code (NAICS) is 237110 The size standard is $36.5 Million. A payment bond (100 percent) will be required after award.(Applicable if contract award exceeds $35,000) - Contract time is 30 calendar days. Note: prospective awardees MUST be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be awarded a Federal Government Contract. If you are not registered, please register at the following site: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ NOTICE TO OFFERORS/SUPPLIERS: Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels the solicitaiton, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.
