- Dinosaur NM - Design/Build, Replace Water Line THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE, NOT A SOLICITATION. IT IS FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES AND IS INFORMATIONAL ONLY. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE IS FOR SMALL BUSINESSES, CERTIFIED 8(a) SMALL BUSINESSES, CERTIFIED HUBZONE SMALL BUSINESSES, CERTIFIED SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES and/or WOMAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES. The National Park Service (NPS), Intermountain Region, Northern Rockies MABO seeks to determine the availability and capability of potential SMALL BUSINESSES, CERTIFIED 8(a) SMALL BUSINESSES, CERTIFIED HUBZONE SMALL BUSINESSES, CERTIFIED SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS, and/or WOMANOWNED SMALL BUSINESSES for an upcoming design/build effort at Dinosaur National Monument. The project is a design-build construction project to replace approximately 3,000 linear feet of 6" potable water line and approximately 800 linear feet of 2" potable water line with HDPE pipe of these same sizes, parallel to and within approximately 5 feet of the existing water lines, including replacing 6", 2", and 1" valves and reconnecting 1" service lines. Design will need to include surveying and geotechnical investigation. The project is located on the Utah side of Dinosaur National Monument in the Quarry area of the Park. The project is estimated to be in the $500,000 - $1,000,000 range. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 237110 Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction with a corresponding size standard of $36.5 million. All firms should be certified in SAM https://www.sam.gov. Work will be ordered by issuance of firm fixed price contract. Firms responding to this notice must submit a narrative, not exceeding two (2) pages, addressing the following: Professional qualifications, including construction project management, water lines, surveying, and geotechnical investigation; Brief past performance information on construction projects of a similar scope and magnitude; Identification/certification of business size and socioeconomic group, i.e. certified HUBZone business, certified 8(a) business, certified Service Disabled Veteran-Owned small business, woman-owned business, or small business; Firm's name, DUNS number, and CAGE Code. Your response is due no later than 12 p.m. Mountain Time on Friday, December 7, 2018. Responses shall be submitted by email only with subject titled "DINO - Design/Build, Replace Water Line" to the following email address: molly_lynam@nps.gov The information received as a result of this market research will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement under one of SBA's socio-economic business programs. The NPS does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice.
