- NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE REQUIREMENT The Department of Veterans Affairs, Ralph H Johnson VAMC, NCO 7 Contracting Activity intends to negotiate a sole source contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) Only one source reasonably available for the following items listed below. The associated NAICS code for this is 334516. The vendor will be OLYMPUS AMERICA, 3500 Corporate Parkway, PO BOX 610, Center Valley, PA 18034-0610. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENTS: Lease GI Lab Scope -gastrointestinal (GI) endoscopes of equipment manufactured by Olympus America, Inc. to Sixteen (16) CF-HQ190L: CF-HQ190L EVIS EXERA III HD COLONOSCOPE; Sixteen (16) PCF-H190DL: PCF-H190DL W/ SCOPEGUIDE; Fourteen (14) GIF-H190: GIF-H190 EVIS EXERA III HDTV GASTROSCOPE; One (1) GIF-1TH190: GIF-1TH190 GIF-1TH190 EVIS EXERA III HIG; Two (2) GIF-XP190N: GIF-XP190N ULTRA-SLIM SCOPE, 4-WAY, NBI; One (1) SIF-Q180: SIF-Q180 SMALL INTESTINAL VIDEOSCOPE WIT; One (1) BF-P190: BF-P190 EVIS EXERA III SLIM BRONCH 4.1MM; Two (2) BF-H190: BF-H190 EEIII HIGH DEF DIAGNOS IC BRONCH and Two (2) BF-1TH190 \: BF-1TH190 EEIII HD THERAPEUTIC BRONCH W. Services to be included as part of this acquisition is maintenance and repair services conducted by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Olympus America, Inc. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: January 1, 2019- December 31, 2022. A firm fixed price with option years is anticipated. It is the Government's belief that only the proposed candidate possesses the required capabilities to successfully meet this requirement. It is the Government's intention to solicit and negotiate with only this source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 4:30pm on November 30, 2018.
