Description
INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, SAO Central, Network Contracting Office 10, intends to enter into a sole source procurement for PET/CT Radiopharmaceuticals for the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, 1481 W. 10th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202. In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(2) Soliciting from a Single Source, the Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a five (5) year firm-fixed price IDIQ contract on a sole source basis with PETNET Solutions, 810 Innovation Drive, Knoxville, TN 37932 for furnishing the following types of PET/CT Radiopharmaceuticals: Flourodeoxyglucose F18 (FDG), Sodium Flouride F18 (NaF), Ammonia (N13), Florbetapir F18 (Amyvid), and Fluciclovine F18 (Axumin). The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 325412 and the Business Size Standard is 1,250 employees. The sole source rationale is based on the Government s belief that PETNET Solutions is the only contractor that can supply all the required radiopharmaceuticals, as one or more of these radiopharmaceuticals are proprietary and exclusively manufactured and distributed by PETNET Solutions. This notice of intent is not a solicitation or request for competitive quotes or offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to meet the subject requirement. This information shall be provided at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 4:00 PM Eastern Time, Tuesday, December 4, 2018. All responses shall be submitted to Jeffrey Rozema via e-mail at jeffrey.rozema@va.gov. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (27-NOV-2018); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
