- Description
- This market survey is to support the acquisition of three (3) Honeywell-Bendix/King Special Missions LASEREF V Inertial Reference Units (IRU), P/N: HG2195AB04. The FAA contemplates competing a firm fixed priced brand name mandatory purchase order among qualified Honeywell/Bendix King dealers who can show they hold required certifications to provide this equipment for the Challenger 604 Flight Inspection Aircraft. These units are used in both the front end of the aircraft for navigation and in the back for Flight Inspections systems. For this acquisition, approved parts are identified as parts that have been produced during the Type Certificate (TC) application process under CFR 14, Part 21, Subpart B, or Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) application process under Part 21, Subpart E, prior to the issuance of the certificate; subsequently determined to conform to the approved TC or STC data. These parts are the only approved parts that can be installed for use on the FAA Challenger 604 Flight Inspection Aircraft. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from all businesses that are interested in and can show capability of meeting requirements as noted above for these IRUs. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code and size standard for this effort: NAICS: 334511 Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing Size Standard: 1,250 Employees Responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only.
