Description
The Regional Health Contracting Office - Pacific, in support of Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii, intends to make a sole source award to Young In Scientific Co., Ltd. for Fast Track Diagnostics Respiratory Pathogen 21 and 33 (FTlyo) High Tubes for existing Government-owned equipment for the 121st Community Support Hospital in Seoul, Korea. The contract is anticipated to be a 10-month base period plus one 12-month option period. The statutory authority permitting this award without providing full and open competition is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), which authorizes the government to award contracts when the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available and no other suppliers or services will satisfy agency requirements. The NAICS code is 325413. This announcement fulfills the synopsis requirements under FAR 5.201 and 5.203. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Information received in response to this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government.
