Description

This is a notice of intent to negotiate and award a sole source contract pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b)(1): For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This synopsis is for information purposes only. However, all responses received within 15 days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. The Naval Air Warfare Center - Aircraft Division, Lakehurst (NAWC-AD LKE) intends to negotiate and award, on a sole source basis, a 5-year, firm-fixed-price, Indefinite-Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract for the procurement of various pieces of peculiar support equipment (PSE) for the MQ-8B Fire Scout Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Program to the Brackett Aircraft Company, Inc. (CAGE: 56833), a small business, of Kingman, AZ. NAWC-AD LKE intends to procure the following over the 5-year period: NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (18-OCT-2018).
