CONSTRUCTION PROJECT: LL - LL - Med Room HVAC CONST The Department of Veterans Affairs, Loma Linda VA Health Care System (LLVAHCS) has a requirement for HVAC modifications and installation for the 3F07C anesthesia office and medication room. The intent of the procurement is to award a firm-fixed price construction contract. Work includes, but is not limited to: Demolition of existing ductwork serving the anesthesia office and medication room 3F07C; Installation of a new 6 inch terminal box to include the damper, hot water reheat coil, and 8 inch ductwork that will serve as the terminal box for the medication room 3F07C; Installation of ductwork with a manual damper control to be attached to the existing vent diffuser in the space; a new 120-volt electrical circuit into the existing electrical system and a new breaker to serve as the main circuit for the new terminal box; Installation of copper reheat lines with appropriate ball valve shut off points to ensure the line can be isolated when necessary. A Statement of Work (SOW) will define the effort required for the completion of work and will accompany the forthcoming solicitation. The Government will not reimburse the firm for their proposal preparation cost. Interested parties are strongly encouraged to attend a site visit: date, time and location of site visit still to be determined. Information regarding the site visit will be indicated in the solicitation when made available. All offerors are strongly urged to attend. A Statement of Work will be issued as attachments to the solicitation. This notice is issued by NCO-22 Gilbert, Located in Phoenix Arizona. However, work be performed at the following VA facility: Loma Linda California VA Health Care System (605) 11201 Benton Street Loma Linda, California 92357 This construction project will be solicited as a Total set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS code) for this procurement is 236220 (Commercial and Institutional Building Construction $36.5). Small Business concerns for this NAICS code have a size standard of $36.5M.   The resulting contract will be a firm fixed construction contract. The period of performance of the contract is 30 CALENDARD DAYS INCLUDING PRODUCT LEAD TIME, with no options included. The period of performance will be specified in the solicitation. The anticipated Range of Magnitude for this project, in accordance with VAAR 836.204 is projected to be: Less than $25,000. It is anticipated that a Solicitation will be issued in January 2019. It is strongly recommended that interested parties register in the US Department of Veterans Affairs Vet Biz database and the Small Business Administration (SBA) database. Registration may be accomplished at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/ and www.sba.gov/, respectively. The Government will not pay any costs for responses submitted.
