- ********** PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ********** The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to solicit proposals to establish multiple blanket purchase agreements to provide recurring services related to the inspection, maintenance, and repair of crane equipment at multiple locations within the western Great Lakes Basin. The Corps' Detroit District manages such equipment within a geographic area that includes the State of Michigan, Northern and Eastern Wisconsin, and Eastern Minnesota. It is intended that the Corps will enter into one or more blanket purchase agreements with companies that are able to provide these services, and that orders will be placed against such agreements on either a competitive or sole-source basis for a period of four years. Each agreement will stipulate that the contractor must be able to mobilize and respond to orders inside the Corps of Engineers Detroit District management area within 48 hours. The solicitation will be issued on or about December 19, 2018, and it is intended that agreements will be established with successful contractors by early February 2019. Specific dates will be included in the solicitation. Documents will be available only via this Federal Business Opportunities website, www.fbo.gov. Up to three agreements will be established, with fixed unit pricing for recurring work items. Individual orders will be priced separately as needs arise. This advertisement will be UNRESTRICTED.
