- THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE SYNOPSIZING AN UPCOMING COMPETITIVE SOLICITATION SATISFYING THE REQUIREMENTS OF FAR 5.201 AND 5.203 AN INVITATION FOR BIDS WILL BE POSTED ON OR ABOUT DECEMBER 28, 2018 TITLE: BATAVIA REPLACE ROOFS SOLICITATION IDENTIFIER: 36C24219B0008 The VA Western New York Healthcare System (VAWNYHS), Batavia VA Medical Center (VAMC) has a requirement to replace roofs on multiple buildings. The work will include, but not limited, demolition, abatement, general construction, removal of old roofing, replace roofing membrane, prepare surfaces for new roofing, install new roofing materials, site restoration, clean up and disposal. All work will be accomplished on the Batavia VAMC campus as indicated in the scope of work, specifications, and drawings under project number 528A4-14-202, which will be published in the invitation for bids. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238160 (Roofing Contractors) with a small business size standard of $15 million. The magnitude of this project is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. A 20% bid bond will be required and must be submitted with the bid. This project will be 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses.
