Description

The Great Plains Area Indian Health Service hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source firm fixed-price contract for a commercially available off-the-shelf (COTS) software publishers to Data Innovations LLC, a small business. The period of performance will be a 10-month period from February 8, 2019 through December 31, 2019. The acquisition is for license renewal, software support, and connectivity maintenance between RPMS (Resource Patient Management System) and various automated laboratory instruments for the Great Plains IHS Hospitals and Health Centers. The total estimated value is less than $40,000.00. This sole source contracting action is pursuing a waiver from issuing a solicitation on a competitive basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements and is based on the intellectual property rights of the software.
