Description
December 14, 2018 Solicitation: 36C24519Q0050_4 Part 1 Questions and Answers were posted on 12/13, this is the second posting for additional answers to questions submitted: Since this is multi-award BPA, does the Government intend to award all the work upon award of the BPA? If not, please require the resumes upon solicitation of work for a given site rather than placing a hardship on small business to have to pre-recruit and clear individuals in advance of a task order. If the Government intends to award all the work upon award of the BPA, please state so. This is an agreement, not a contract. When the need arises per facility, the vendors who are on the BPA will be asked to submit a quote or task orders can be rotated. No not all work will be awarded upon award of the BPA. Each potential contractor has to be found technically capable. Resumes can be reviewed when sought for a quote per task order, as long as confirmation has been received affirming that the contractor personnel whom will be performing under this contract have the required experience listed in the Performance Work Statement for Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist. Will contractors that receive awards on the multi-award BPA be allowed to discount their rates when responding to individual task orders? Yes, that is encouraged. Please confirm that the positions listed all full-time positions (e.g., 1880, 1920 or 2080 hours per site)? Not all locations will be needed all at once, the number of hours worked by each contractor will vary. Expected hours for one facility are Contractor shall work on-site at the Place of Performance or virtual from the contractor s location (as agreed by the Government depending on the task).   Contractor shall be available Monday through Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM ET, excluding all Federal holidays, after hours and weekends unless necessary for the successful completion of the projects. Is the CDI Services for Inpatient or Outpatient? It could be either I/P or O/P but most facilities are focused on I/P. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (14-DEC-2018); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
