Description

Pre- Solicitation Notice The Department of Veteran Affairs intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to HICAPS Inc. This order will be for the installation of wireless fixed duress buttons at the Charles George VA Medical Centers Asheville, NC CBOC s at Hickory and Franklin NC. This order requires the vendor to install and provide status solutions wireless interface, serial IP interface and associated hardware including wall pendants at the Hickory and Franklin NC CBOC clinics. HICAPS Inc has been identified as a trained provider and one familiar with the systems located at the Charles George VAMC that can provide the needed supplies and service. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all expressions of interest received within three (3) days (24 Dec 18 at 1200 PM), of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. Interested contractors may identify their capability to provide the services prescribed within this notice, and should provide sufficient data for the government to determine them as a comparable alternative to the intended source. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This acquisition will be under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 13.106-1 (b).
