Description
Description: This requirement is for a firm-fixed price contract with 3 - 1 year Option for an C-17 Support Equipment - Kit Reference Standard - Solid Laminate Carbon EPOXY; NSN: 6635-01-458-4538BA, Part Number 17G110483-1. The Basic is for Qty of 4 each (includes first article), Test Plan (1 LO), and Test Report (1 LO). The 3 - 1 year Option is based on Qty range of 1-4 each. The item is used to detect anomalies within a part, such as a delamination between piles of the carbon, will also reflect the ultrasonic wave of the instrument. This reflection will be displayed on the CRT between the representations of the front and back surface. During the equipment set up for inspection, the display on the inspection unit must be adjusted to provide the sensitivity necessary to distinguish an anomaly within the part from the front and back surface reflections. This requirement will be a set-aside for Small Business. Offerors; offeror shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit and detailed instructions contained in the RFQ. All responsible Small Business sources may submit a proposal to be considered by the contracting agency. The Government will utilize the Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS), Excluded Parties List System (EPLS), and other Government databases to determine contractor status before evaluating proposals. Proposal will be evaluated based on criteria stated in the RFQ. We anticipated release of the RFQ on or around 5 September 2018 with an estimated response date of 5 October 2018. The RFQ and all attachments will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities webpage (http://www.fbo.gov/).
