Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19 hereby provides notice of its intent to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract to Spiral Software, 113 Upper Pasture Rd Norwich, VT, 05055-9621. The contract is expected to be awarded under FAR 13. A Justification and Approval Single Source has been prepared. The contract will be to provide Amion Call Schedule Software (Base + two Option Years) for $36,645.00. Oklahoma City VA Medical Center (OKC VAMC) requires Amion software support to auto populate schedules to increase ease of use for creating multiple call schedules throughout the year. The required software and support is proprietary to Spiral Software. The Amion software program has already been approved by VA IT, to be used on the network and with VA iPhones through the Amion App. Spiral Software also provides enterprise call service for the University of Oklahoma Medical Center, which maintains affiliation agreements with the Oklahoma City VA medical center. Call schedules are coordinated between medical facilities as an essential element of providing comprehensive patient care. NAICS code: 541519, Other Computer Related Services (SBA Size Standard $27.5 M) THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than January 2nd, 2019 at 9:00am MST. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 19 will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses will be considered. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this notice of intent, the Government shall determine if a solicitation will be issued. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award. Interested parties are encouraged to furnish information by email only with Response to Intent to Sole Source for Amion Software in the subject line. All documents submitted will not be returned. All interested parties shall submit clear and convincing documentation demonstrating their capabilities to satisfy the requirements listed above to Jack Huckleby by email at jack.huckleby@va.gov. The capability documentation should include general information and technical background describing in detail the prospective contractor's capabilities and experience that will demonstrate the ability to support this requirement.
