Description
PRESOLICITATION NOTICE Project #652-17-930 Loading Ramp and Canopy The Department of Veterans Affairs, Hampton, VA has a requirement for a contractor to provide all equipment, labor, materials and supervision as necessary to build a ramp and canopy. This work is to comply with current VA standards for hospital construction and patient care- Project 652-17-930 for the Hampton Department of VA Medical Center (VAMC), Richmond, VA. Magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. NAICS CODE: 236220 Size Standard: $36.5 Million Project scope includes, but is not limited to, the following: Build a ramp and canopy cover from loading dock B. The ramp will be reinforced with both ¼ rebar and welded wire fabric with a 4000 psi. concrete mix. The picket on picket fence wall will be constructed of 3 aluminum square tubing for the fence base, the fence wall will be 1 x6 aluminum fastened to the base. The sloped canopy will have dusk to dawn LED vaper proof lights and will be fastened to both building 500 and the fence wall. Contractor will protect the existing drain by constructing a chase over the drain extending under the proposed ramp. Work to be completed in accordance with local building codes. This solicitation is anticipated to be a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. Solicitation material will be available on/about January 4, 2019. Any specifications, drawings and amendments will be posted on FBO. Proposals will be due approximately 28 days after issuance of the solicitation. Location and points of contact for site visits will be identified in the solicitation. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposals. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. No bidders list is maintained. All interested vendors should register on this website. It is the offerors responsibility to check the web site periodically for any amendments/notices to the solicitation. Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database in order to obtain access in FedBizOpps. SAM and Vetbiz registration must be current and active to be eligible for contract award.
