Description

This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purposes of this Sources Sought Notice is to determine interest and capability of prospective contractors relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 339113 (Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing). The VA Illiana Healthcare System has a requirement for twenty-five (25) ProCair ES2 Control Units, Item # PMP-ES2, Manufactured by JOERNS. This is a Brand Name Only procurement as only this specific control unit is compatible with the existing bariatric beds that are currently in service at the Illiana VAH. The statutory authority for Brand Name Only other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1(c)(1). Interested firms that can meet the requirements stated above should respond in writing and include at a minimum, ALL of the following information: Company name: Address: Point of contact (name/title/telephone number/e-mail address). FSS Contract number, if applicable: DUNS number: Business category (SDVOSB, VOSB, Small Business or Large Business) A capability statement that addresses the organizations qualifications and ability to provide the requirement depicted above. An Authorized Distributor letter or memo from the manufacturer. Reference the product, and sources sought number on all correspondence regarding this announcement.
