Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville intends to extend the ordering period of the Medical Facilities Architect-Engineering Services (MFAES 2.0) Indefinite Delivery Contracts through 30 March 2020 and increase the total shared capacity $35 million (to $284.4 million). The current indefinite delivery contracts have a one-year base period with four one-year option periods. A six-month ordering period extension was executed 30 September 2018 (Notice: PANHES-18-P-0000-019854) and the contracts are set to expire 31 March 2019. There are a total of six large business firms and three small business firms in the MFAES 2.0 pool. The proposed contract modification is to extend the ordering period under authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(d)(1)(B)(i) as implemented by FAR Part 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(A), “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements,” for architect-engineer (AE) design services in support of military medical facilities worldwide.
