- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is PAN408-19-P-0000-001150 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-101. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 333994 with a small business size standard of 500.00 employees. This requirement is unrestricted and only qualified offerors may submit bids. The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2019-01-14 16:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com. FOB Destination shall be in the Special Shipping Instructions. The 408th CSB SWA Qatar Contracting Command requires the following items, Brand Name or Equal, to the following: LI 001: Dual Chamber Aerospace Qualified Heat Treating System -Brand Name or Equal- -Aerospace Qualified Heat Treating System for tool steel, aluminum, PH Stainless, and other alloys -2 oven bays required (Dual chamber combination furnace and oven system with roll away quench tank and designed for full compliance to Technical Order 1-1A-9 for pyrometry standards and heat treatment of most metals listed) - Oven temperature must not vary more than +/-25 degrees Fahrenheit. - One chamber must be a minimum of 12" high, 12" wide and 36" deep and be capable of reaching and maintaining a 2000 degree F temperature and maintain class 2 uniformity from 1000-2000 degrees F. - One chamber must be a minimum of 12" high, 18"wide and 48" deep and be capable of reaching and maintaining a 1200 degree F temperature and be an air / convention design. Capable of meeting class 1 or 2 uniformity from 150 - 1200 degrees F. -The oven must include temperature measuring equipment, Furnace Temperature uniformity survey and system accuracy equipment that conforms to SAE-AMS-2750 and US Air Force Technical --order 1-1A-9 -The oven must not occupy a floor space larger than 48"wide by 60"deep. -The oven must be powered by 230V 3 Ph 60 Hz not to exceed a maximum draw amperage of 100A. -In addition to heat treating, the upper chamber could be easily set up for curing of composite parts up to the TUS volume size.
