Description

ANNUAL BOILER INSPECTION SERVICES This is a sources sought notice only and it is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of qualified, potential contractors and their socio-economic size classification in accordance with NAICS code 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors. Responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After a review of the responses to this sources sought notice, a solicitation announcement may be posted. A response to this sources sought notice is not an adequate reply to a potentially forthcoming solicitation. The Central Iowa VA Health Care System located at 3600 30th Street, Des Moines, Iowa 50310, is seeking qualified potential contractors to provide Annual Boiler Inspection services. The work required consists of performing annual inspections on 5 boilers and a deaerator, all labor (including staff with proper certifications, licenses, and/or qualifications to perform boiler inspection services in Iowa), supervision, management, management support, supplies, ancillary equipment, vehicles and materials necessary for accomplishment of annual boiler inspection services.   The equipment to be inspected includes: Boiler #1: 20159_PA-1000                       Boiler #2: 20159_PA-2000                       Boiler #3: 20148_PA-3000                       Boiler #4: 20148_PA-4000                       Boiler #5: 88446                       Deaerator tank unit # 08968-1-1 To respond to this sources sought notice, please complete the attached form titled Response Form to Sources Sought Notice and email the information requested to Angela Stewart-Downham, Contract Specialist, at angela.stewart-downham@va.gov. The closing date and time of this sources sought notice is January 14, 2019, at 10:00 AM Central Time. This is not a solicitation and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract.
