Description
This is a Sources Sought notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources (small and other than small) to perform a potential requirement. Purpose and Objectives: Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. NAICS code: 561720 and sized standard is $18M. NOTE: Respondent claiming SDVOSB and VOSB status must be registered and CVE verified in VetBiz Registry https://www.vip.vetbiz.va.gov/. The contractor is required to supply all labor, and expert supervision required to maintain the outside areas as specified in this Statement of Work. Work shall be accomplished at the VA Medical Center, 800 Zorn Ave., Louisville, KY 40206-1499. The contractor representatives meet the needs of customers while supporting the medical center and service missions; Consistently communicates and treats customers (patients, Visitors, Volunteers, and all medical center staff) in a courteous, tactful, and respectful manner. The customer is provided with consistent information according to established policies and procedures. Handles conflict and problems in dealing with the customer constructively and appropriately. No more than two (2) valid complaints. Project requirements: Robley Rex, Louisville VAMC Exterior Janitorial Services. Cleaning Entrances: Five (5) Main Entrance /Valet Canopy Area, Patios, Smoking Shelters, West Entrance, D010 Conference Room, Emergency Room, and Prosthetics. A. Daily Requirements: 1. Remove cigarettes, other debris and leaves from lawn and landscaped shrub and flower areas. 2. Sweep and/or vacuum debris from sidewalks. 3. Empty and clean all cigarette butts and trash receptacles, damp clean and replace liners. B. Weekly Requirements: 1. Steam clean/pressure wash sidewalk minimum once a week. 2. Smoking Shelters Outside of ER entrance and behind Building 5 Smoking Shelters: A. Daily 1. Damp clean seats and backs of chairs. 2. Empty and damp clean ashtrays. 3. Empty all container, disposals and trash containers replacing liners. 4. Wash and sanitize table and counter tops. 5. Service floor (Sweep or steam/pressure wash). 6. Sweep baseboards and comers. 7. Clean windows and door glass. 8. Remove fingerprints 'from doors, frames, and kick and push plates and handles. 9. Remove cigarette butts and other debris in picnic area. Damp wipe tables. B. Monthly 1. Low and high dust all surfaces Including sills, moldings, ledges, shelves, frames and vents. 2. Sanitize exterior of containers and disposals. 3. Steam or pressure wash or wipe down interior walls. West Entrance Patio Basement Floor: A. Dally Requirements: 1. Damp clean seats, backs of chairs, and tabletops. 2. Empty all ashtrays and trash receptacles, replacing liners (every time trash is removed Wash and sanitize tabletops). 4. Sweep floor and remove debris, leaves, damp mop. 5. Clean windows and door glass. 6. Remove fingerprints from doors, frames, and kick and push panels and handles. 7. Remove dust and other debris from ledges and frames. B. Weekly Requirements: 1. Steam clean/pressure wash patio once a week. C. Monthly Requirements: 1. Sanitize exterior of containers and disposals. Cafeteria Patio Second Floor: A. Dally Requirements: 1. Damp clean seats and backs of chairs. 2. Empty all ashtrays and trash receptacles, replacing liners (every time trash is removed Wash and sanitize tabletops). 4. Sweep floor and remove debris, damp mop. 5. Clean windows and door glass. 6. Remove fingerprints from doors, frames, and kick and push panels and handles. 7. Remove dust and other debris from ledges and frames. B. Weekly Requirements: 1. Steam clean/pressure wash patio floor once a week. C. Monthly Requirements: 1. Sanitize exterior of containers and disposals. 2. Pressure wash or wipe down walls as needed. Work is to be accomplished: Monday through Saturday, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Excluding federal holidays: New Year's Day, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday, Washington's Birthday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Anticipated period of performance: 07/01/2019 through 06/30/2020 plus four (4) one-year options. Information sought: Response to this announcement shall not exceed 10 pages and should include the following information: (1) A tailored capability statement indicating the firm s ability to provide a product and related services; (2) The respondents DUNS number, organization name, address, point of contact, and size and type of business (e.g., SDVOSB/VOSB, etc,) pursuant to the applicable NAICS code; (3) Information should be provided electronically in a Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF format.
