Description
This is a Sources Sought Notice only. This is not a solicitation for quotation or proposal and no contract award will be made from this notice. Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest (NAVFAC SW), Facilities Engineering and Acquisition Division (FEAD) Miramar is issuing this notice in an effort to perform market research and identify potential sources capable of meeting the requirements described below. All information submitted in response to this announcement will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any cost associated with providing the information resulting from this notice. NAVFAC SW, FEAD Miramar is seeking for sources capable of providing custodial services at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Miramar, San Diego, California. The following information applicable to this announcement is outlined below: 1. NAICS Code: 561720 “ Janitorial Services 2. Small Business Size Standard: $18.0 million annual receipts 3. Performance Period: Base period of one (1) year and four (4) one-year option periods 4. Estimated Start Date: April 1, 2019 5. Scope of Work: The contractor shall furnish all labor, management, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation and other non-personal services necessary to perform custodial services for various facilities (total is approximately 416,000 square feet) located at MCAS Miramar, San Diego, CA. This requirement mainly consists of services that ensure the cleanliness of working environment, including but not limited to space cleaning, emptying waste and recycling containers, cleaning low and high area, lunch/break rooms, interior and exterior windows, window blinds, entrance, interior glass surfaces, drinking fountains, restrooms, building perimeters and floor care services. 6. Instructions to Interested Parties: All interested vendors must complete the attached Market Research Questionnaire and respond via email to Jenny Peters at jennelyn.peters@navy.mil not later than 10:00 AM Pacific Standard Time (PST) on Tuesday, January 22, 2019. Respondents are advised that all information provided will be kept confidential and will not be disseminated to the public.
