THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. THIS NOTICE IS ISSUED FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION OR INVITATION FOR OFFERORS TO SUBMIT BIDS. A SYNOPIS OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION MAY BE POSTED AT A LATER DATE WHICH WILL PROVIDE INSTRUCTIONS FOR BIDDERS TO RESPOND TO THIS OPPORTUNITY. Please only respond to this sources sought notice if you are interested in submitting a bid and capable of performing the work required to complete the project. The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) anticipates the need for a firm-fixed-price contract for a project entitled Replace Fuel Tanks at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Greenville, IL. The following brief synopsis should not be considered inclusive of work required to complete the project. The contractor shall install a new fuel storage and dispensing system consisting of: one 3,000-gallon above-ground regular gasoline storage tank (AST) with dispenser, one new 10,000-gallon E85 gasoline AST with dispenser, one new 3,000-gallon vehicle diesel AST with dispenser, and new fuel leak & level monitoring equipment. The contractor shall also install one new 8,000-gallon generator (red dye) diesel AST and piping to connect to existing generator fuel system. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (09-JAN-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
