Description

The Library of Congress, Network Development & MARC Standards Office, requires contractor support to provide a detailed comparison of the BIBFRAME Works and Instances produced by the LOC to those produced by the Casalini Libri’s ilibri ® Bibliographical Database software. The contractor shall apply Casalini Libri’s BIBFRAME conversion to a set of up to 500,000 MARC records supplied by the LOC. The contractor shall evaluate the differences in the resulting Resource Description Framework (RDF) with Universal Resource Identifiers (URIs) and the data components produced, and determine how the data models and the reconciliation process affect the conversions.
