This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) and the solicitation number is 36C24418Q0079. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-101 effective October 26, 2018. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238210, Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors with a small business size standard of $15.0 Million. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Wilkes Barre VAMC (WBVAMC) requires four (4) breakers refurbished. These breakers are part of the hospitals critical inventory and are kept as spares in the event of an online breaker failure. All interested companies shall provide quotations for the following: The anticipated Period of Performance will be 60 days following Contract award and includes the following Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN): CLIN 0001: Circuit Breaker #1 (General Electric, AKRU-7D-30 (Serial #: 0334A9592-001-001)): The contractor shall evaluate to determine the condition and extent of repairs; make the repairs to each individual breaker; and to return the breakers back to their fully functional and safe operational state in accordance with the Statement of Work. CLIN 0002: Circuit Breaker #2 (General Electric, AKRU-6D-30 (Serial #: AK60898/ID 75A780883-2B)): The contractor shall evaluate to determine the condition and extent of repairs; make the repairs to each individual breaker; and to return the breakers back to their fully functional and safe operational state in accordance with the Statement of Work. CLIN 0003: Circuit Breaker #3 (General Electric, AKRU-6D-30 (Serial #: AK60921/ ID 75A78088A-26)): The contractor shall evaluate to determine the condition and extent of repairs; make the repairs to each individual breaker; and to return the breakers back to their fully functional and safe operational state in accordance with the Statement of Work. CLIN 0004: Circuit Breaker #4 (General Electric, AKRU-6D-30 (Serial #: NA)): The contractor shall evaluate to determine the condition and extent of repairs; make the repairs to each individual breaker; and to return the breakers back to their fully functional and safe operational state in accordance with the Statement of Work. Service Contract Act Wage Determination Number 2015-4239, Revision Number 8, dated 12-26-2018, applies to this acquisition and will be incorporated into the resulting contract. A copy of the Wage Determination is included with this solicitation as Attachment 3. Any award resulting from this solicitation will be issued on a Standard Form 1449. NOTE: To receive an award resulting from this solicitation, offerors MUST be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database IAW FAR 52.212-(k).
