Description

This requirement is for a web-based subscription to economic forecast data for use by Air Force acquisition personnel. The Contractor shall provide national and regional economic indexes to include average hourly wage rates, employment cost, consumer price indices, and producer price indices by major metropolitan statistical areas. International economic indexes shall also be provided to support foreign military sales acquisitions. Current, accurate, and complete forecasting and historical data in the aerospace and defense industrial indices are of particular import, and quarterly price and wage forecasts in these industries must be included in the database subscription. Economic forecasts shall be made on a quarterly basis and should also include an annual horizon. Forecasts will be provided by index along with period to period percent change. The contractor shall provide the forecaster assumptions used each quarter. Contractor forecasts shall cover a 10 year horizon moved one year to the right as each year passes, on a quarterly basis.
