Description: U.S. or foreign flag, Roll-On/Roll-Off (RO/RO) or combination Roll-On/Roll-Off Lift-On/Lift-Off (RO/RO-LO/LO), self-sustaining vessel(s) (multiple award up to 3 vessels) capable of carrying military cargo (wheeled and tracked vehicles and breakbulk) under three different scenarios. The minimum capacity (measured in square feet) per vessel shall be 100,000 square feet of cargo from the cargo list. Vessel(s) must be capable of maintaining 15 knots while laden. 17. The place/range of delivery is Bremerhaven, Germany and the place/range of redelivery is Beaumont, Texas (USA). The laydays commence and cancel on 01 February 2019 (Scenario #1), 20 February 2019 (Scenario #2), and 09 March 2019 (Scenario #3); and the period of performance is about 22 days for each charter awarded. 18. Set-aside Status: N/A. The decision to release this solicitation as "Unrestricted" is based on responses received from a recent market survey for this service. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. MSC's Procurement Center Representative (PCR) has concurred with this assessment.
