- This announcement is not a Request for Proposals (RFP), and constitutes only a Request for Information (RFI)/ Sources Sought for a potential solicitation to assess industry capability from both a large and small business standpoint. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific (SSC PAC) is seeking qualified business firms with current relevant knowledge, experience and capability to provide system hardware and system support for AN/FPN-68A Precision Approach Radar (PAR). The anticipated period of performance (POP) would consist of five (5) years inclusive of options. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334511 Air traffic control radar systems and equipment manufacturing, and the Small Business size standard is 1,250 employees. Federal Supply Code (FSC) 5999 Miscellaneous Electrical and Electronic Components. Interested business firms are invited to respond to this sources sought announcement by providing an information statement that addresses the areas of emphasis in the attached RFI for Supply Procurements. The attached RFI sets forth the requirements for response submission. A determination as to whether a potential acquisition will be a set-aside, solicited using full and open competition, or sole sourced will be based upon responses to this notice. The deadline for submission of capability information is 22 January 2018, 12:00 Pacific Standard Time. Capability information is to be submitted via electronic transmission as specified in the attached RFI. SSC Pacific may not evaluate offeror submissions that do not comply with the submission instructions. SSC Pacific will evaluate offeror submissions that comply with the submission instructions as further specified in the Governments Information Request. If insufficient qualified small business firms indicate interest, the Navy may procure the services through unrestricted full and open competition or via a sole source. Each respondent to this notice will be notified in writing of the set- aside or unrestricted decision made for this procurement.
