Description

Due to unanticipated acquisition process delays, it has become necessary to modify existing contract SP3300-14-C-5001 to allow for uninterrupted Warehousing and Distribution Services. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) anticipates awarding a modification to existing Warehousing and Distribution Services Contract SP3300-14-C-5001 on a sole source basis to Carolina Linkages, Inc. doing business as Safe Ports, Inc. (Safe Ports). The modification is being issued to plan, program, manage and execute efficient and effective receiving, storage, inventory, packaging, care of supplies in storage, stock control, stock selection, issue processing, packing, shipping, and distribution of repair parts and secondary items in support of on-base, local, and worldwide customers at DLA Distribution Guam, Marianas. The modification incorporates FAR 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services and enables an extension of the contract for up to six (6) months or no longer than 31 July 2019. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (14-JAN-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
