- NSN: 6140-01-619-5434 BATTERY STORAGE. The approved source is EAST PENN MANUFACTURING CO, (04055) P/N 8A8DM. This NSN will be procured under an Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) using FAR subpart 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. A base period of 3 years and two separate 1-year option years with a total duration not to exceed 5 years are anticipated. This solicitation will not set-aside for small business and must be procured from the approved source. Shipping instructions shall be provided with individual delivery orders. Material ordered under the terms of this contract shall be delivered within 79 days after the date of the order. Notwithstanding any other provisions/clauses of this contract, no deliveries shall be made prior to issuance of delivery order (DD Form 1155). FOB at Destination (First Destination Transportation DOES NOT apply) and Inspection and Acceptance at Destination are required. This solicitation will be available on the Internet at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil// on or about the issue date of 01/18/2019. Due to system constraints, it may take as long as three business days from the stated issue date for the solicitation to post to DIBBS. Technical drawings/bid sets are not available. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of quotes, quotes can be evaluated according to "best value" procedures on the basis of a combination of Price, Past Performance and Delivery. All quotes shall be in English and in US dollars. The item under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the US by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979.
