Description

This requirement is full and open to all business concerns. The Department of Veteran Affairs, Pittsburgh VA Medical Center, University Drive C, Pittsburgh, PA 15240 is soliciting quotes under Solicitation number 36C24419Q0075 for a contractor to provide brand name only Alere North America, LLC test kits for testing patient specimens for the presence of harmful organisms and parasites such as legionella and pneumococcus. The Government intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) and award a Firm Fixed Price contract to the responsible offeror whose quote constitutes the lowest price technically acceptable to the Government using procedures in accordance with FAR Parts 13. This acquisition will be unrestricted and open to large and small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 325413 In-Vitro Diagnostic Substance Manufacturing and Product Service Code (PSC) is 6550 In-Vitro Diagnostic Substances, Reagents, Test Kits and Sets. All interested and responsible parties may submit a quote following solicitation release. The solicitation number is 36C24419Q0075. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website on or about November 20, 2018. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database (http://www.sam.gov) and complete online Representations and Certifications at (http://www.sam.gov).
