- Page 3 of 3 SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 15 is conducting market research to help determine the availability and technical capabilities of qualified vendors who can provide Gram Stainer System. POTENTIAL SOURCES SHALL PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IN THEIR RESPONSE: 1) Company Name Address Point of Contact Phone, Fax, and Email DUNS number Cage Code Type of business, (e.g. Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, 8(a), HUB Zone, Women Owned Small Business, or Large Business) 2) Statement of Capability that demonstrates ability of providing the Emergency Radios and past performance with this type of requirement. The Government is not committed to award a contract pursuant to this announcement. This permits prospective contractors to offer products other than those specifically referenced by brand name. All offers must work with existing equipment that has already been purchased and is currently in use at the station. Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center, Wichita, KS is requesting equipment for the following purpose: an Automated Gram Stainer system that provides accurate, standardized results for all types of specimens. Location: Pathology and Laboratory Department in the Microbiology section. This procurement is for new OEM medical equipment only for VA Medical Centers. No remanufactures or gray market items will be acceptable. (b) Vendor shall be an OEM, authorized dealer, authorized distributor or authorized reseller for the proposed equipment/system, verified by an authorization letter or other documents from the OEM, such that the OEM s warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM. All software licensing, warranty and service associated with the equipment/system shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and conditions.
