- Description
- NOTICE : This is not a solicitation but rather a Request for Information to determine capabilities within Industry and for information and planning purposes only. Interested Sources are encouraged to repond to the attached Request for Information (RFI) to ensure the A-10 Division has the most current and accurate data moving forward as this requirement is refined. This potential requirement is for engineering services in support of the A-10 Aircraft; specifically, this requirement is for the Weapon System Support & Analysis (WSSA) program as detailed below: PROGRAM DETAILS : This anticipated program is to provide non-personal technical services to the A-10 Division in support of the Weapon System Support and Analysis (WSSA) Program. This program supports multiple facets of A-10 systems engineering and integration. The purpose of this effort is to obtain task based systems engineering services that include analysis, engineering and management processes and tools to facilitate the role of the A-10 System Program Office (SPO) in performing system integration. The A-10 SPO requires contractor provided analysis and tools to accurately assess, track and prioritize modernization and sustainment requirements, and devise and implement integration strategies to achieve the highest attainable level of congruity between all A-10 aircraft programs. This requires performing dedicated analytical and systems engineering tasks to identify and resolve technical deficiencies, program conflicts, duplicative efforts and inefficiencies to ensure that the most efficient weapon system performance and integrated platform configuration management are accomplished to support the A-10 Weapon System. NOTE : This is not a request for proposal (RFP) or an invitation for bid, nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government does not intend to make an award on the basis of this RFI. Additional market research is anticipated and a formal sources sought will be posted at a future date. Please keep in mind the due date of 1 February for responses to this RFI. Any questions or concerns can be submitted to the Contracting Officer. Thank you for your consideration of this request; the A-10 SPO looks forward to reviewing responses and moving this program forward. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (18-JAN-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
