Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice as a set aside for service disabled veteran owned small businesses (SDVOSBs) and veteran owned small businesses (VOSBs). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotes under solicitation number: 36C26219Q0314. The Department of Veterans Affairs Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, Los Angeles, CA 90073 has a requirement for the installation of light fixtures for the VA Medical Center. The Contractor shall furnish all materials/service at the Veterans Affairs, 11301 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90073. The contractor will be responsible to install 91 LED fixtures in Bldg. 217 on the 1st & 2nd floor. The room numbers have been supplied to install the 91 fixtures over the beds. The 91 fixtures will be provided by the VA Electrical Shop. Furthermore, the contractor will provide all electrical material that is needed to illuminate the new fixtures over the bed. The contractor will be responsible to provide a low voltage sider dimmer to control the new LED fixtures. All parts and material will meet the VA Specs and all applicable NEC code requirements for installation. Also, the contractor will be responsible to install 21 JUNO SLIMFORM Downlights, 5" radius fixtures in bldg. 217 and 214 both on the 2nd & 3rd floors. Additionally, the contractor will supply 21 globe type fixtures that will be LED type with sufficient lumens to illuminate the center main corridor. The new LED fixture will replace the old fixture in place. The contractor will be responsible to supply all materials that will be needed to illuminate the new fixtures. All parts and material will meet the VA Specs and all applicable NEC code requirements for installation. Period of Performance: One month from date of award. JOB WALK IS SCHEDULED FOR Friday, January 25, 2019 AT 11:00 AM PST SHARP. JOB WALK ADDRESS: 11301 Wilshire Blvd,  Bldg. 46, Los Angeles, CA 90073 Lobby Map of Job Walk is attached to this solicitation. The solicitation will be in accordance with FAR Part 12, 13, and 19, Acquisition of Commercial Items, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, Small Business Programs, and Veteran Affairs Acquisition Regulations as supplemented with additional information in this notice. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 335121 size standard 750 employees. The Contractor shall adhere to all federal and state laws and regulations in effect during the term of this contract. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract. The Contract begins on the date of award. Due to time constraints, responses to the solicitation shall be due on Friday, February 1, 2019 at 12 Noon PST. Offerors are advised that it is your responsibility to review and monitor the website frequently to ensure you have the most up to date information, including amendments. Statement of Work RFQ 36C26219Q0314 The contractor will be responsible to bring all tools, ladders, multi meters and any other tool that will be needed for proper installation. The contractor will be responsible to cover all beds and other furniture as needed; nevertheless, all the rooms will be cleaned daily before leaving the job site. The contractor will be responsible that all work will be left in a safe matter, which the resident will not be in harm s way. The contractor is responsible that each bed is provided with a new LED fixture with dimming control in all rooms with bed count that has been listed in the statement of work. Also, the contractor in responsible for the purchase and install of the 21 fixtures on the 2nd & 3rd main center corridors in bldg. 217 & 214. The new LED fixture will replace the existing light fixture. The contractor will be responsible to install 91 LED fixtures in Bldg. 217 on the 1st & 2nd floor. The room numbers have been supplied to install the 91 fixtures over the beds. The 91 fixtures will be provided by the VA Electrical Shop. Furthermore, the contractor will provide all electrical material that is needed to illuminate the new fixtures over the bed. The contractor will be responsible to provide a low voltage sider dimmer to control the new LED fixtures. All parts and material will meet the VA Specs. Also, the contractor will be responsible to install 21 Juno 5 Slimform LED surface mount downlights fixtures in bldg. 217 and 214 both on the 2nd & 3rd floors. Additionally, the contractor will. The contractor will be responsible to supply all materials that will be needed to illuminate the new fixtures. All parts and material will meet the VA Specs. I have added a cut sheet of the product that must be used in Bldg. 214 & 217. The contractor will be responsible to purchase this fixtures for the center corridor lighting on the 2nd and 3rd floors in Bldg. 214 & 217. The material must meet VA specs: Steel flex EMT Steel compression fittings Steel straps Metal remodel boxes (tiger grip box) Ground pig tails (bond to box) Ground wire in all conduits. Stainless Steel cover plates.
