- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veteran Integrated Service Network 8 (VISN-8), intends to release Solicitation/Release of Quote (RFQ) number 36C24819Q0069 for Boiler Safety Device Testing, Program Development and Training for all VISN-8 locations. VISN-8 places of performance are: C. W. Bill Young VA Medical Center, Bay Pines, Florida Lee County VA Health Care Center, Cape Coral, Florida Bruce W. Carter VA Medical Center, Miami, Florida Malcolm Randall VA Medical Center, Gainesville, Florida Lake City VA Medical Center, Lake City, Florida Lake Nona VA Medical Center, Orlando, Florida and Lake Baldwin VA OPC, Orlando, Florida San Juan VA Medical Center, San Juan, Puerto Rico James A. Haley VA Medical Center, Tampa, Florida West Palm Beach VA Medical Center, West Palm Beach, Florida The requirement is 100 percent set-aside for SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SDVOSB) concerns. All offerors must be certified on the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) to submit a quote. The NAICS code for this service is 238220, Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning Contractors and the size standard is $15 million. All interested vendors MUST complete System for Award Management (SAM) Registration in order to work as a federal contractor.. All other contract details are included in Solicitation/Request for Quote number 36C24819Q0069, will be electronically issued, in commercial item format, in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13 on or about 17 January 2019. The close date will be on February 4, 2019@ 4:00 p.m. EST. A Past Performance Questionnaire must be completed by a minimum of three references and also has a close date of February 4, 2019 @ 4:00 p.m. EST. Any future amendments and other miscellaneous documents and the monitoring Fedbizopps.gov, will be the responsibility of the interested vendor.
