- This notice is for Solicitation Number 36C24219B0012, Project Number 620-18-211, Renovate Gym Floor in Building 26, at the VA Hudson Valley Health Care System, Montrose Campus, 2094 Albany Post Road, Montrose, New York 10548. This shall be a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. As a result, all SDVOSB's may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency. This project is classified under NAICS Code 236220, and has a size standard of $36.5 Million. The Magnitude of Construction for this project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Scope of Work: The scope of work shall generally consist of, but not limited to the following: Gymnasium Hardwood Court Floor: Contractor is to remove existing damaged interlocking gymnasium floor tiles, existing gymnasium sub-base hardwood/ repaired flooring, and any existing adhesive substance(s) to provide clean concrete surface for preparation of new gymnasium flooring. Contractor will install new (hardwood/maple/multiuse) gymnasium flooring with striping in accordance with manufacturer s instructions and VA specification 096519. Contractor to ensure gymnasium floor surface, court dimensions with striping must be certified for competition by the international federations for basketball (FIBA), volleyball (FIVB), handball (IHF) and badminton (BWF); orientation and respective court locations will match original. Install VA Hudson Valley HCS logo at the basketball court center circle; refer to existing as required. Contractor will be responsible to coordinate and schedule shall be expected to plan work typically during duty hours of 8 AM to 4:30 PM eastern time except as noted in the general conditions and as approved by the CO. Contractor must maintain all access to and egress from the buildings at all times for facility s fire protection requirements and to meet the requirements of regulatory codes, laws, etc. This project shall be bid as the price to complete all general construction, alterations, the necessary removal of existing flooring materials and installation/construction, striping and coating of new gymnasium flooring. Project Completion: 90 Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed (NTP). All other details and information shall be contained in the solicitation which shall be posted on www.fbo.gov. The solicitation will be released on or about February 8, 2019. The response submittal address, date and time will be included in the solicitation. This project requires bonding and all responses/submissions to the solicitation to be posted later shall be in hardcopies. Faxed or e-mailed bids will not be accepted. All prospective bidders must be currently registered in www.sam.gov, www.dnb.com (Duns and Bradstreet)and be registered and verified as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB)in www.vip.vetbiz.gov at the time of offer submission and before award of this procurement.
