Description

The subject requirement is for the acquisition of NSN 6140-01-628-2613 which is a Battery Assembly Kit. The required quantity is 27 KT with delivery to Richmond, VA (SW0400). The solicitation contains a 100% option. The approved source for the code and P/N is Sanitz Enterprises, Inc. (57AD8) P/N AP101243. The proposed procurement includes items within the Federal Supply Class 6140. The Governments required delivery schedule is 120 days ADO. The requirement will result in an award for DLA Direct stock. FOB is Destination. Inspection/Acceptance at Destination applies. The procurement will be accordance with FAR Part 15. The proposed contract is being solicited as a sole-source SDVOSB set-aside to Sanitz Enterprises, Inc. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. dollars. Based on market research this item is manufactured for military use only and is not commercial; therefore, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12 in this solicitation for this item, However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item with 15 days of this notice. There are no technical drawings/bid sets available. This solicitation is not set-aside for small business. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, past performance and delivery. Specifications, plans, or drawings, related to the procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestricted technical data. Therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304c(1).
