- The Regional Health Contracting Office - Pacific intends to make a sole source award to Abbott Laboratories for a blanket purchase agreement for Abbott spinal cord stimulator implants for cervical, thoracic and lumbar spinal cord stimulation and neuromodulation surgeries at Tripler Army Medical Center. Note: This requirement was previously posted as a sources sought notice under solicitation number W81K0218Q0202. The statutory authority permitting this award without providing full and open competition is FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii) which authorizes the government to award contracts when there is only one responsible source and no other suppliers or services will satisfy agency requirements. This announcement fulfills the synopsis requirements under FAR 5.201 and 5.203. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency before the intended award date.
