Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. Market Research is being conducted to determine Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) or Small Business (SB) interests. The scope of the acquisition includes but is not limited to: The Minneapolis Veterans Affairs Healthcare System (MVAHCS) has a continued need for document destruction services in compliance with Veterans Affairs. Currently the MVAHCS generates approximately 350,000 lbs. of paper per year and approximately 500 lbs. of media/plastic per year, which is collected in locked security consoles located throughout the campus and off-site locations. See Attachment A for console types, console quantities and building locations. Note: Paper and media content quantities are an estimate and could change throughout the duration of the contract period. Document destruction services consist of physically collecting confidential materials from consoles located throughout the MVAHCS and outlying areas, which includes all papers, media storage such as files, disks, and x-rays, on a bi-weekly basis to be mutually determined by provider of the service and the MVAHCS and in accordance with VA Directive 6371.Instructions: If your company has the capability of performing these services, please notify our office of your intent. In response, please include the following: (a) a positive statement of your intent to submit a bid as a prime contractor (capability statement); (b) evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, points of contact and telephone numbers. Responses to this notice should also identify whether or not the firm falls into any of the socioeconomic categories listed above. Your response is required by: 12PM MST on 29 January 2019. All capable Veteran Small Businesses are encouraged to respond. The Government will not pay for any information solicited.
