- Marble Beach Bank Stabilization- This announcement is to small business, 8(a) Small Business, HUBZone Small Business, Woman-Owned Small Business and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns that may be interested in performing a contract for the Pacific Northwest Region of the Bureau of Reclamation. The work to be performed is described below. Based upon response to this announcement, the Government may determine to set this acquisition aside or proceed with an unrestricted solicitation. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990 and the related small business size standard is $36.5M. This notice is not a request for proposal and the information presented in this announcement will not obligate the Bureau of Reclamation in any manner. The estimated cost of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The work is located at Marble, Stevens County, Washington. Interested parties should include the following information in their response: (a) Business name, address, cage code, size classification based on NAICS size standard, socioeconomic classification (i.e. HUBZone and/or 8(a)), and a point of contact; (b) A positive statement of your intention to submit an offer for this solicitation as a prime contractor; (c) Brief capabilities statement that addresses experience performing similar projects as a prime contractor; and Construction bonding level, aggregate and per contract. All interested parties are encouraged to respond to this notice, by e-mail to jsmorris@usbr.gov not later than 1:00 PM MST on 1/30/2019. The information provided in this announcement is all information the Government has available at this time. There are no specifications, drawings, bid packages, or source lists available. Prospective contractors MUST be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at http://www.sam.gov to be eligible for award. SYNOPSIS OF WORK The Department of Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, Pacific Northwest Region requires slope protection in the form of an 18 ¿ Riprap with a 6 ¿ cobble surface treatment, and a three-tiered precast concrete block retaining wall covered with topsoil for revegetation along and above the full pool waterline. The work is intended to protect a sensitive natural and cultural site from further damage and halt erosion of the shoreline/slope at Marble Beach. The resource sensitivity and proximity to private property necessitates water transportation to the project site, may require using equipment from a barge platform, requires taking in to consideration rising / lowering water levels, and pedestrian-only access at the project site; no wheeled or tracked equipment allowed on-site. Work is located approximately 81 miles Northeast of Grand Coulee, WA. in Stevens County. We will expect work to commence August 2019 and to be completed before May 2020.
