- Page 1 of 1 The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit and negotiate a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase Order with one Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) source, Juliet Construction, LLC. The procurement is for a Reliance 1227 Cart and Utensil Washer/Disinfector, 200-208v, 60Hz, vented, Steam heated. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 339113 1st American Medical Distributors, Inc. is an authorized distributor for STERIS Corporation and is registered in VETBIZ. This procurement will be made under the authority of Title 38 U.S.C. 8127 and implemented under VAAR 819.7007. IAW VAAR 819.7007(b), sole source awards to SDVOSB concerns, the Contracting Officer s determination whether to make a sole source award is a business decision wholly within the discretion of the Contracting Officer Estimated award date is 06/28/2018 This requirement is for: Department of Veterans Affairs Seattle VA Medical Center 16660 SE Columbia Seattle WA 98108 This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.201(b)(1), to publicize the proposed contract action. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be made available. Any responses received will only be considered for the purposes of determining the market place for future procurements. The Government will not pay for information submitted. This will be the only notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate, and award to one source to satisfy this requirement.
