Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to negotiate a contract on a sole source basis with The Morgan Group LLC, Washington, DC. The purpose of the contract is to provide effective training in science communication to the National Eye Institute (NEI). NEI trains a large number of fellows and students, preparing them for the next stage of their careers. Part of that training involves the development of skills they will need to be effective scientists. Chief among these skills is effective communication; the ability to present their data to various audiences is not only important for promoting the scientific enterprise but also to enhance their job prospects and assist them in finding positions in academia and industry.
