Page 1 of 2 This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for quote (RFQ) and it does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Request for a solicitation will not receive a response. The purpose of this sources sought announcement is for market research to make the appropriate acquisition decision(s) and to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their Small Business Administration (SBA) size classification in relation to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 811219. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 22 is seeking a source to perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) on Castle Steam Sterilizers for the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHCS) located at 11301 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90073. Vendor shall provide all necessary equipment, expertise, incidentals, labor, materials, parts, supervision, supplies, tools, transportation, and qualified personnel required to perform bi-annual (twice per year) on-site cleaning of sterilizer units in accordance with manufacturer guidelines / recommendations and industry standards. Vendor must be an authorized service representative and possess credentials indicating such from/of the original equipment manufacturer (OEM), Getinge. Vendor shall perform all services in accordance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws / regulations. Please see attached draft final statement of work (SOW) for pertinent information which details the Government s needs. All interested parties who can perform Castle Steam Sterilizers PM services shall provide a written response to this notice and include the following: Company name, Address, Point of contact, Phone, fax, and email, DUNS number, Cage Code, Tax ID Number, Type of small business, e.g. Services Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), 8(a), HUBZone, Women Owned Small Business (WOSB), Small Disadvantaged Business, or Small Business [NOTE: If you are a SDVOSB or VOSB, you must submit your certification from the Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) (https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/)], Provide a copy of your company s current Representations and Certifications from www.sam.gov, and Provide evidence your firm can provide the requested service, to include Getinge authorized service provider documentation, past and/or current contracts for same services, and any other compelling evidence to help the Government determine your company s capabilities. All responses must be received no later than January 30, 2019, by 1:00PM Pacific local time.
