- Page 1 of 1 The Department of Veterans Affairs National Acquisition Center (VA NAC) High Tech Medical Equipment Team (HTME) is responsible for the acquisition and management of Radiation Therapy Systems, upgrades and accessories, linear accelerators, simulators, therapy information systems, therapy planning systems, after loading systems, water phantoms, along with training, installation, maintenance services, and incidental services related to the supply of the equipment in order to meet the needs of their customer, the Veterans Health Administration (VHA). The NAC is seeking responses from verified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) who can successfully perform and meet the HTME Radiation Therapy needs of the VA.. Responses shall include the following: Discuss your ability to provide Radiation Therapy Equipment and Accessories. Please include in your responses the specific systems that you provide by modality, to include Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) information. Responses shall also include a letter of commitment from the manufacturer to ensure you to source the manufacturers items. Discuss your ability to provide various ancillary HTME Rad Therapy requirements. Responses shall directly address your ability to provide the following: Turnkey and extended installation. Responses shall address agreements with subcontractors with the required capabilities to perform this work. Extended Warranties. Maintenance Services. Responses shall address your capability to perform maintenance on any equipment. Training. Responses shall discuss your ability to provide applications training as well as biomedical engineering training and physicians training. Upgrade support. Responses shall address your ability to provide upgrade support for the equipment, to include auxiliary equipment (probes etc.) as well as software upgrades.
