- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Region 5, is intending to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to 1) Replace a flood damaged stone dust walking trail with a new accessible asphalt pavement trail and construct a new accessible spur trail with enlarged paved area for an accessible picnic table; 2) Replace flood damaged asphalt pavement at the northern end of the Raceway Building and at four additional roll up doors which are located elsewhere on the building with new asphalt pavement; 3) Remove the existing concrete sidewalk and access ramp to the Visitor Center and install a new accessible reinforced concrete sidewalk and access ramp to the building; 4) Remove existing concrete sidewalks at the rear and side of the Visitor Center and install a new accessible reinforced concrete sidewalk and access ramps to the building; for the White Sulphur Springs NFH, 1087 East Main St, White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia 24986. This procurement action is being solicited as a Small Business Set-aside. The NAICS code is 237310 Highway, Street and Bridge Construction, with a size standard of $ 36.50 million. This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 36 ¿Construction ¿ and FAR Part 15, ¿Contracting by Negotiation ¿. In accordance with FAR 36.204 Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects (c) Between $100,000 and $250,000 This work involves providing all labor, equipment, supplies, and construct as necessary to complete work as defined in the Statement of Work and Drawings that will be provided when the solicitation is issued. Detailed requirements and/or specifications will be listed within the solicitation. A Firm Fixed Price award is contemplated from this solicitation with an award to the offeror(s) providing the best value, based on 1) Past Performance; and 2) Price Proposal (Schedule B). Solicitation package number 140F0519R0004 will include the Solicitation Forms (SF1442), Statement of Work and other attachments as required. Documents will be posted to the https://www.fbo.gov and available on https://www.fedconnect.net/FedConnect/Default.htm public opportunities on or about Feb 01, 2019.
